10 Ways to Transform Failure into Success

Life is pain. Whether it’s the simple pain of failure, or the complex pain of death-anxiety. Whether it’s the simple pain of hunger, or the complex pain of wrestling with your demons. If you’re alive, and especially if you are living a life well-lived, you will experience pain.

How you deal with this pain, and thus how you deal with failure, is what will make or break your character. Disposition is the thing. Temperament is more of a gauge than happiness or sadness. Your flexibility and openness will ultimately decide the robustness of your spirit. With that in mind, here are ten ways to transform failure into success.

1.) Apply the Backwards Law:

“The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one’s negative experience is itself a positive experience.” ~Mark Manson

Also known as the law of reversed effort, the backward’s law is a quirky little perceptual feedback loop that can turn anyone’s brain into a pretzel.

Basically, when we dwell on wanting a positive experience, we are highlighting our lack of a positive experience. This highlighting of a lack is itself a negative experience. Which creates a negative feedback loop. The next thing we know, we’re anxious about being anxious. We’re pissed off about being pissed off. We feel like a failure about being a failure. And that’s the trap.

There comes a point where the only way forward into growth is to accept how shitty our situation is, in the moment. Embracing our failure is itself a success. When we accept the fact that we’re not happy, we create a positive experience. This positive experience may not be happiness itself, but it’s a start. It becomes a foundation for further positivity, despite failure.

2.) Transform demons into diamonds:

“The obstacle is the path.” ~Zen Proverb

Just as the grain within the oyster can be transformed into a pearl, the pain within the human can be transformed into strength. Wounds can become wisdom when we allow ourselves to be curious about how our scars have made us who we are.

Becoming curious with our deep wounds is honoring them with our attention. When we’re able to honor our wounds, we’re more likely to reconcile our demons. It’s not so much that we suffer less but that we suffer better.

Transforming demons into diamonds is having survived a great tragic something, whether physically, mentally, or spiritually. It’s registering more fully with our suffering and, instead of turning away or repressing it, we come out the other side of the cocoon able to “dance” with it. Our wounded heart rises up, bloody and bruised, but with bandages trailing behind it like a cape.

3.) Transform failure into a game:

“A person only plays when they are a person in the full sense of the word, and they are fully a person only when they play.” ~Friedrich Schiller

Life is a poker game. You can’t control the cards you’ve been dealt, but you can control how you play them. It’s your responsibility alone to play the hell out of whatever shitty hand you’ve been dealt.

As it turns out, life is less about getting what you want and more about making the best of what you get.

In order to transform failure into success, somethings got to give. You cannot self-correct in a vacuum. You must embrace that vacuum and squeeze all the hot air out of it, lest you fall further into failure.

Transforming failure into a game makes you more flexible and less rigid, more adaptable and less intractable, more playful and less serious. Your playfulness will give you courage, which will open you up and transform boundaries into horizons.

4.) Process over Progress:

“Circumstances don’t make the man; they only reveal him to himself.” ~Epictetus

Ironically, focusing on process regardless of progress makes you more likely to progress. When you make process primary and progress secondary, you are more likely to be successful in your pursuits.

It’s all about devoting yourself to a system rather than a goal. Having a goal is just fine. But what happens if you fail? You’re more likely to get lazy or quit completely if you’re focused on a goal that fails than if you’re focused on a system that endures whether you fail or succeed. Having a goal is better than having no goal at all, sure. It’s better than inertia and laziness. But what’s better than having a goal is having a system.

Having a goal is about dreaming. Having a system is about action. It’s about doing. Goals, like failures, just get absorbed in the process of the system. They are subsumed and become more like guideposts along the path of allowing the journey to be the thing.

5.) Allow yourself to not give a fuck:

“The art of knowing is knowing what to ignore.” ~Rumi

Not giving a fuck is a tricky proposition. You can’t completely not give a fuck because then you’ll just end up perpetually neglectful. But if you give too much of a fuck, you risk taking yourself, and the opinion of others, too seriously.

The question is this: Why do you give a fuck about petty shit when you could give a fuck about magical shit instead? Chances are culture has conditioned you into giving too much of a fuck about petty, unfulfilling shit and not enough of a fuck about magical, fulfilling shit.

Here’s the great part: what’s magical and fulfilling is entirely up to you. But there will always be consequences to your choices. There’s always the greater law of the universe to contend with. Better to align your giving a fuck with the healthy dictates of the cosmos so as to avoid the unhealthy consequences of ignoring them.

6.) Transform your failures into steppingstones:

“Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.” ~Samuel Beckett

Look at each of your failures like hard-earned rungs on the precarious ladder of life. Separated, these rungs are just hardened failures collecting dust in the basement of your suffering. But if you put them together, you form a ladder that you can climb up into something meaningful.

Collect your failures like the precious little information engines that they are. Combine them for ultimate combustion.

It’s all a matter of perspective. You can choose to languish in the prospect that your setbacks have nothing to teach you, or you can choose to empower yourself by transforming your setbacks into steppingstones toward something greater.

7.) Have a sense of humor about failing:

“The first principle is to not fool yourself. And you are the easiest person to fool.” ~Richard Feynman

Failing is a part of life. It’s going to happen, a lot, whether you’re lucky or not. Ultimately it comes down to how you respond to failing. Is it cry, cry, cry, or is it laugh, laugh, laugh?

Do we turn the tables on the pain of failure and come at it with a sense of humor, or do we tremble before it with a sense of dread? Do we have hard feelings about it, or do we cultivate a disposition of lightheartedness? Do we take it seriously and tighten our grip, or do we take it sincerely and loosen up a bit?

The ultimate failure is wallowing in being the butt end of the cosmic joke. The ultimate success is flipping the script by laughing at the joke despite being the butt end of it.

8.) Transform failure into art:

“In art and dream, you may proceed with abandon.” ~Pattie Smith

You will fail. You will be shaken. You will not come out unscathed. You will experience much struggle and confusion. If you live long enough, you will have had your heart broken again and again. Welcome to this thing called Life.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. These tragedies that befall you are kindling for artistic fire. They are the emotional paint you can dip into to create something profound and moving.

The art created from such catharsis becomes the art of life. It’s the unfolding of life as art and art as life. What Ernest Becker called our “immortality project.” Which is essentially a creative and heroic engagement with life that creates meaning, purpose, and significance out of meaninglessness, pain, and failure. It’s a way of transforming mortal pain into immortal art.

9.) Let go of your attachment to success:

“My own words are not the medicine, but a prescription; not the destination, but a map to help you reach it. When you get there, quiet your mind and close your mouth. Don’t analyze the Tao. Strive instead to live it: silently, undividedly, with your whole harmonious being.” ~Lao Tzu

There is no perfect state. There is no final enlightenment. Or, if there is, it can only possibly exist in the moment, during the process, unattached to enlightenment. Unattached to success. Or, so completely non-attached to it that one becomes connected to all things through it.

It’s not a destination but a direction. It’s not a truth but a process. It is only achievable when it is understood that it is ultimately unachievable. The only way to find enlightenment is not to seek it, but to simply be it. The same goes for success.

Don’t seek success, be successful. That can only happen in the moment. In the heart of the journey being the thing. Sometimes it will work out and sometimes it won’t. Move on to the next moment. Seizing the moment leads to seizing the day leads to seizing a life well-lived.

10.) Transform pain into power:

“Climb the highest mountain and punch the face of God.” ~Courage Wolf

Transform pain into power. Transforming pain into power is transforming failure into passion. Pain can be your greatest teacher or your ultimate destroyer. In some ways you’ll have a say in which way it goes, and in some ways you won’t. But in the sense that you do have a say, you should make yourself known.

Rise up out of your pain by becoming its student. What you learn will guide you into a robustness of spirit, which will ultimately help you become a force of nature (interdependent), as opposed to merely forced upon by culture (codependent).

The transformation of pain into power becomes a passionate expression of self-overcoming. A fierceness is born that’s magnetic. It lights your soul on fire. You become a beacon of light in a dark world. Or, even better, a beacon of darkness piercing the blinding light. In short: you become a force to be reckoned with instead of a pawn to be toyed with. Despite failure, despite success, the power is yours. You have only to claim it.

The hammer sees only the nail. Everything that is not a nail goes unnoticed.

The ego sees only what it desires. Everything that is not a desire goes unnoticed.

The hammer is designed to drive nails. The ego is designed to get what it wants.  There is nothing wrong with this.

Nails comes naturally to hammers and desires come naturally to egos.  Changing this is impossible.

My point is this: If I am only an ego with a hammer, then I can only nail my desires or desire my nails.  However, if I am the one who is aware of my ego and hammer, then my experience of life expands infinitely in all directions and I notice everything, not just nails and desires. 

Making this distinction is the beginning of authentic spiritual life. This is because spiritual life is about what is true, not just what is assumed to be true that then becomes a massive context to which everything is now subject.

The ego is an assumption of a separate self that is then overlaid onto life.  If I subject my awareness to this assumption, these ego colored glasses, then I will see only what the ego sees.

If I identify with my awareness, then I am open to whatever awareness is aware of, which is a helluva lot more than nails and desires. I’m still aware of them, but am not limited to just them.

Every religious tradition in the world, from Hinduism to the New Age,  is based on the assumption of a separate self. Therefore, it is an overlay projected onto life.  It’s not about Life, it’s about assumptions about life.  It’s the difference between food and pictures of food.  If you try to live on pictures of food, you will die.

The Current of Life, the Pulse, the Music, the Passion, the Intensity, the Searing Radiance of Existence is central to Life, not provincial superstitions like ego.  It’s understandable that we invent superstitions and project them onto life.  It’s understandable, yes, but that doesn’t make them true.

Every religious tradition assumes a separates self that is going from here to there, from earth to heaven, from birth to death.  While it is true that lifeforms are born and die, the underlying Reality in which these cycles are occurring is the Real Deal.  The fish in the ocean are born and die, but the Ocean remains. Therefore, the Ocean is the True Condition of the fish, not its’ ideas about itself.  The fish would say, “What Ocean?”

In the same way, the ego says, What God?  I exist, what I say and what I think and what I want are God. In this way, false gods are overlaid onto Real God, Life God, Reality God, Actual God.  Beliefs about God replace God.  Now, you’re lost. You’re lost and don’t know it.  You’ve got your nose so close to the map, you can’t see where you’re going.

The priests say, “You’re not doing it right.”  The doctors say, “Take this prescription and come back in 2 weeks”.  The therapist says, “Apply this formula so that you can heal and adapt to society”

Ho fucking hum.  Religious, medical, and therapeutic prescriptions for a false disease bore me. Not only that, they really piss me off because well meaning people believe this shit and are so buried, you can’t even see the bottom of the hole.

“If you repeat a lie enough, everyone will believe it”

“A lie doesn’t become truth because everyone believes it.  A truth doesn’t become a lie because no one sees it”

The individuated self appears spontaneously in Nature, just like stars, planets and galaxies.  These are objects OF consciousness.  We are aware OF them.  Therefore, consciousness is prior TO them. This means that Consciousness is the Principle of Existence, not objects, not thoughts, not ideas, not beliefs, not “your truth”, not mine, not your ego, not mine.

Now, you ask, What is Consciousness? Your awareness of Awareness enables you to ask this question. Consciousness becomes an object to itself.  This is called Manifest Existence, the Universe, the Word become Flesh, the Incarnation of the Divine, the Kingdom of Heaven, the Garden of Eden.  Where there is awareness of Awareness, the Nature of Reality shines brightly and illuminates the map to the point where you see that you have been eating the menu for the Meal.  It’s the difference between pictures of sex and sex itself.  Which do you prefer?

Spiritual life is about Truth, Absolute Truth, What has always been True, not absolute beliefs, dogmatic presumptions, or facsimiles of Truth.

No separate self ever realized the Truth. The Truth illuminates the separate self to the point where it is outshined and becomes transparent.  Spiritual luminaries like Jesus and Adi Da were not separate selves.  They were identified with the Divine Condition.  Jesus spoke like God speaks, that’s why he was crucified.  He wasn’t a megalomaniac, the separate self was not inflated to grandiose proportions, there was no separate self, only a clear passage for Truth to Radiate.

That’s why he wanted us to contemplate his State and put our attention on It, so that It would duplicate his realization in us.  It was never about cultic worship of him, it was about the destruction of the cultist and his or her false presumptions about separateness from Love (God), our Actual Condition. This is true repentance, the renouncement of the false self and its idols, so that Love Intimacy, Heart Communion with Life is possible.  Love Communion with Infinite Life is authentic spiritual practice.  It’s the difference between a Juicy Kiss and a boring book that you’ve read a thousand times and doesn’t even have any pictures.

Spiritual life is not boring, is not dry, is not effortful.  It takes no effort to be attracted to What is True, Beautiful, and Alive as all things.  It’s real time love communion, not brain/mind ideas plastered onto Life. Everyone possesses this ability.  It may be buried beneath the rubble, but it’s still there.  Dig it up.

From the shock of my birth and the fear of my death, I doubt and collapse from Love, my True Condition, and dramatize betrayal, abandonment, and worthlessness

I collapse from love and create suffering through self pity and blame

I blame others and transfer ownership of myself to them.

I create scapegoats and false gods in my rage.

I destroy Love and betray it and accuse others of betraying me

I create doubt and fear.  When I fear I want security.  When I want security, I empower false gods, tyrants, experts, strategies, and substances to save me.

I am a fundamentalist, a fascist, and a tyrant in an ego cult of one.

I enslave others in my hellish condition of dread

I abuse others with my self pity

I dramatize abandonment and rejection and self pity and fuel all my other lesser addictions with it.

I harm myself and others with my addiction to a false self, an idea, a victim/robot who imagines itself to be separate from Love

I am a cultic worshipper in my exclusive ego cult of one.

I imprison others by my withdrawal from Love

I condemn others to the dungeons of my lovelessness

I betray Life by my withdrawal from Love.

My collapse and withdrawal from Love is sickening and starves all my relations.

I use these conditions to justify my accusations of betrayal.

I use other’s failure to love me to justify my own failure.

I betray Love and blame others for it

I reject love, then dramatize betrayal.

I make others wrong

I impose my agenda

I am a recovering ego addict because I notice the obvious Beauty and Love at the Heart of Existence and the way in which I obstruct it.

I am not separate from Life and Love

I am free to be in alignment with Life and Love or not.

I am responsible for the consequences of my alignment or non alignment with Life and Love.

I use my non alignment with Life and Love as an excuse and reason for self pity

I am inherently, already unified with what is always already the Case: seamless unity between consciousness and matter, God and self, whole and part.

I am recovering from self pity and the willingness to tolerate lovelessness in myself

I am a whirlpool in a River of Light

I am a recovering ego addict.

I am responsible For and To Love.

I maintain Heartfelt Intimacy with the Truth of Love, the Core of Reality.

I do not withdraw from my Actual Condition as a Whirlpool in this River.

I trust the White-Hot Core of Existence.

I trust Life’s Brilliance.

I am thrilled by the Intensity and Freedom and Love of Life

Life flows from Love, the Condition of all things

I am Always Already one with Life

Poisons

Self pity: the dramatization of abandonment and victimhood. The belief in powerlessness and that everything happens to me, not in me, with me and because of me. The collapse from love into prisons of mind which equate baseless assumptions with factual evidence. Self pity is a self fulfilling prophecy and guarantees unresolvable conflict

Complaint: legitimate dissatisfaction that never grew into positive action for healthy change. Complaint is the evidence of living in a default ego mode in which one feels both terrified and powerless.

Blame: the demon child of complaint. The irresponsible transfer of ownership from self to other. Blame is the last refuge of the coward who refuses to accept the consequences of his own choices and actions.

Contempt: Decayed, rotten anger and hatred that never saw the light of day. Dissatisfaction that never grew into healthy change. Contempt is the vicious scorn heaped upon those to whom we gave our power and who got the blame for it.

Condemnation: the false assumption of superiority. The belief that I’m Ok, you’re not Ok. Condemnation is the evidence that I allow others to control my life.

Criticalness: the willingness to focus only on the faults of others as a way of avoiding one’s own faults

Withdrawal: the refusal to love. The silent punishment meted out to those who disobey my decrees and assert their own freedom. Withdrawal is the final nail in the coffin, the brutal ending of what was once a thriving love affair.

Nutrients

Self Ownership: The willingness to be responsible for what I say and do. The refusal to avoid the consequences of my actions. The understanding that my state is up to me, not circumstances, conditions or other people.

Alignment: Coherence between personal and infinite life. The return to innocence and purity, not by disciplines but by Noticing what is always already true. Alignment is the result of understanding that infinite intelligence exists on all scales, that it is my actual nature, not my hypothecated one. It is my self already, now. It does not become enlightened; It already is light. Enlightenment is, therefore, our actual state now. It is not something that is added to us at the end of a journey; It is our condition, now. That means that we can’t become who we are precisely because we already are it. What happens is that we un-become who we are not. This reveals the always existing alignment that had become obstructed by false assumptions and mistaken perceptions.

Acknowledgement: The Act of affirming and embracing what Exists. Acknowledgement is the result of the courage it takes to face one’s own limited contexts and false assumptions. By Bravely Acknowledging the Truth of Life, all the false identities dissolve on their own and do not require effortful struggle.

Recognition: The mature fruit of Acknowledgement. The stabilized understanding that infinite intelligence is Alive and Well as all things.

Empathy: Love in the form of a willingness to stand in another’s shoes. Empathy is food for the soul of another

Empowerment: one of the immediate results of empathy. Empowerment is the energy that comes from digesting love.

Demand: the requirement that life places upon us to face the Mystery and Wonder and Ordeal of Existence. Demand is the practice of not flinching, not avoiding the blood, sweat and tears of human life.

Enjoyment: The radical disposition of freedom. Enjoyment is the direct result of what happens when Life’s Radiance is unobstructed by our false assumptions and ego identities. In this understanding, the universe can be seen as an expression of Life’s infinite freedom and enjoyment of it’s own Intense Dynamic,

When an individual is willing to be reduced to his or her essential nature and is open to the truth and Glorious Nature of Existence, then that one becomes a Beacon of Light in the world.

It is at this point that an actual relationship begins.

When we Climb the Mountain and Understand the Poisons and the Nutrients, the rest is all downhill.

When I say I, who or what is speaking? The only possible answer is infinite consciousness, that which is aware and alive in and as all things. The reason this is the only possible answer is because awareness is what makes experience possible in the first place, and the experience of I is primary and central to all other experiences.

My first experience is I.

I am. I exist. I am aware.

My second experience is I am aware of a body and mind in a world.

Since awareness is primary and central to all experience, I am awareness first and am not limited to the bodies and thoughts and objects that I am aware of any more than the sky is limited by what floats through it.

The incredible thing is that in order for I to appear, infinite consciousness has to forget itself and go to sleep so that it can dream me. I am a character, an eyeball, a perspective, a dream character in God’s mind.

This is why the Hindus talk about Maya, or deception and the Buddhists talk about emptiness.

The universe is what God looks like when viewed through a space/time perspective.

Its not identical to God any more than a brain scan while you’re eating chocolate is identical to the taste of chocolate. The point is that parts of the brain light up when you eat chocolate but it doesn’t tell you anything about the experience of tasting chocolate.

All we have and know is experience, awareness of I and what I am aware of.

All experience is built out of awareness, which expresses itself as I.

The dog knows her name and knows when you are speaking to her. The spider spins her web to catch food for her babies. Infinite consciousness forgets itself and surrenders itself to all beings without restraint.

The awareness in the spider and dog and you and me is identical.

The differences between species is like the difference between sunglasses, microscopes, and kaleidoscopes. All perspectives create their own unique refraction of the Infinite Light of Consciousness.

The reason this is important is because the Infinite Ocean of Living Light is eternal. The bodies and minds and universes appearing within it are finite and are created and destroyed in an endless process of transformation.

That’s what Infinite Radiant Awareness likes to do.

God goes to the Movies. In fact, God is the Movie.

As God’s dream character, the Game is to play the part well. Study your lines. Practice your acting skills with a coach. Take your part seriously. The audience can smell a bad actor and ruin a good story. The best actors are the ones who don’t look like they’re acting. They convince us that what we are seeing is real.

For years I have had a dream in which it’s opening night at the Metropolitan Theatre in New York and I am the Lead Actor in the Play. I am surrounded by actors in costumes. There are thousands of people in attendance and I am about to walk out onto the stage. I haven’t studied my lines, I have no idea what I am supposed to do or how I am going to fake this performance in public. The curtain is pulled back and then, thank God, I wake up.

Another dream I had repeatedly decades ago was my tongue was like a roll of toilet paper and I was furiously pulling it out of my mouth until it laid on the floor in a pile.

These 2 dreams are related and are relevant to the claims I am making in this essay.

The second dream is about other people’s words in my mouth.

The first dream is about a complete failure on my part to understand who I am and who my character is, and the difference between them.

I couldn’t remember my lines because I didn’t know who I was or who my character was. Other people’s words occupying my mind and tongue didn’t help either.

Now, through a brutal process of destruction and creation, I have stabilized and understood my true nature to be absolutely infinitely free and spectacularly beautiful and happy.

All of us share in this Nature.

Reality is so shockingly magnificent and so wickedly beautiful, a single glance into its core is more than enough to shatter your fear, arrogance, and vanity forever.

The point of this essay is to honor and respect what we usually take for granted, our ordinary human life, our mundane day to day routine.

When you think about what had to happen in order for you to be bored on a lazy day, things don’t look so mundane anymore.

The centrality of Awareness is the best kept secret in the world, hiding in plain sight. We think God and Infinite Consciousness is at a great distance from ourselves. But that’s not true and that’s not why we miss it.

We miss it because it is at a great closeness to ourselves, so close we don’t notice.

The point of authentic spiritual practice and study is to Notice.

A game is a set of conditions that people agree on in order to play together. Poker, football, basketball all have conditions and rules of engagement. The goal is to defeat your opponent with a better hand or scoring more touchdowns or baskets. In every game there is a goal, players, rules, referees and an audience.

The same is true for theatrical plays and movies. When you go to a movie, you agree to forget about your everyday reality and pretend that the images on the screen are real. The Lone Ranger catches the train robbers. Rocky Balboa defeats the odds and rises to the top. Superman prevents the airplane from crashing.

The same is true in your dreams at night. You fall asleep and dream that you are lost in a jungle. You are running from wild animals and right when you are about to be eaten alive, you wake up. What a relief, you say, it was only a dream.
The same is true for ordinary reality. Asleep to your cosmic nature as infinite consciousness, you appear as Joe or Nancy in a body, in a world, in a universe. These appearances and limitations are what makes the Game work. You could not have dreams at night if you were awake. The temporary forgetting of your waking state enables the dream just like enjoying the movie is only possible because you forget about everything else.

Games, movies and dreams all require a temporary suspension of attention to ordinary reality.
An actor who plays the part of Hamlet forgets himself, puts on a costume and pretends to be someone else. Everyone in the audience agrees to pretend along with him and a drama is created that lasts for a couple of hours. The play has an author, an audience, a beginning, a middle, and an end.

The actor must forget himself in order to play Hamlet in the same way that infinite consciousness must forget itself in order to play you.
This means that you, like Hamlet, is being impersonated. Hamlet is played by the actor, you are played by God.
Here is my point: When the play is over, the actor goes home. He takes off his costume and returns to his personal life. If he continued to pretend that he was Hamlet after the play was over, people would consider him to be insane.
Dying is like waking up from a dream. The dream is not an illusion, it’s a real dream. It is however, an impersonation just like the actor who impersonates Hamlet.

When you are dreaming, you don’t know that it’s a dream. It must be this way in order for the dream to work.
Dreams, movies, and personal biographies are Games. They all require a temporary suspension of belief. In your dreams at night, you forget that you are asleep in bed, just like you forget that you’re in a theatre watching Hamlet. Taking our personal biographies seriously is like the actor who thinks he’s Hamlet after the show is over. When the actor is playing Hamlet, it’s appropriate that he embody Hamlet realistically, otherwise he would be booed off the stage. His acting skill is important to the success of the play, but it must end when the show is over.
This seems so obvious, it doesn’t even need to be mentioned. Why then, do we linger in our costumes after the play is over? Because the Actor is still asleep to his own self and loves to perform as Hamlet, as you and me, the world and the universe. God loves to build sand castles and knock them down, play hide and seek, and watch movies. You would think that being God is serious business. Creating and managing the universe, listening to countless prayers from desperate people, battling evil spirits seems like some really serious business, but no, it’s not.

How do I know this? Because God Is infinite love and love is not material. It’s not serious, it’s playful. This means that if God is not material, then the universe is not material. You, the chair you’re sitting on, the house you’re in, the neighborhood, it’s all non material. Now wait a minute you say. This chair is real, it’s solid, it’s not an illusion.

That’s true, it’s not an illusion but it is an impersonation. It’s non material consciousness playing the part of a chair. A chair is a state of consciousness like ice is a state of water. Water can be solid liquid or gas, but it’s always just water.
The actor can play Hamlet, Superman, or the Fonz, but he’s still the same actor.
The water can look like a pitcher, a bucket or a wine glass, but its still just water.
God can appear as Joe, Lucy or the cat, but its always just God.
I saw a video of a baby recently discovering her toes. She realized that those little pink things out there were part of herself. She would wiggle her toes, grab them and laugh with joy and delight.

Think about that the next time you look up at the stars at night.

The universe is your body, you just haven’t noticed it yet. You think the stars are like those little pink things out there, have not yet noticed how they are part of your galactic body. The baby was delightfully shocked to learn that those little pink things are part of her body, just like you will be stunned out of your shorts when you see that stars are parts of you. The baby thought yesterday that her toes were disconnected blobs of pink; today she realizes that they are intimately connected to who she is.
This is the inevitable destiny for us all.
The realization that there is one actor, one condition, one light, one intelligence, one Presence Alive as all Existence will transform everything.
The Movie, the Dream and the Game will become fantastically exciting and our joy and delight will overflow forever.

This is called lucid waking and it’s like lucid dreaming, which is when you’re dreaming and you know you’re dreaming. It’s not that the dream is not real, it is real, a real illusion.
It’s a Game. Games are fun, even deadly ones, like this human life.
So, enjoy yourself, and forget about getting hurt or dying.
Who you are doesn’t die.
Who you are plays Games.

That’s because when all the minor conditions have been incinerated, only the major Condition remains.

The minor conditions are the objects of perception, thoughts and ideas about body, mind and self. The major Condition, the Condition of all conditions, is That Which is Aware of all conditions, perceptions and objects.

To the Condition, conditions appear and disappear, but it is not changed, like a mirror that is not changed by what it reflects, or a screen that is not affected by the images appearing on it.

The shift from identifying with an image to identifying with the screen is bloody, chaotic, confusing and destructive of all false narratives. It is hot and painful and the dungeons full of rotting monsters and demons fling their gates wide open. I found myself feeding the hungry demons and finding places for the monsters to sleep. Some of them became my friends and allies after I pulled their broken teeth and stitched up the gashes in their flesh. Others moved on to other lands and I hear they tell tall tales of some dude who actually loved them and cared about them, which no one could believe.

My point is this: painful, ugly truth is much better than beautiful lies.

You have been lied to and worse, much worse, you believed them. You didn’t know any better. If your mother gives you a glass of milk, you drink it without question because it comes from a trusted source. The problem for us humans is that we trust sources that don’t deserve it.

For example, how do you know that you were born into Original Sin? Because the Bible says so and you trust the Bible.

How do you know that viruses cause disease? Because you trust the scientists and doctors who say so.

But, do you know for sure? Is there a test that we can do to determine if indeed we were born in Sin? Is there a test to prove that the presence of a microbe in the body of a sick person caused the disease? Does correlation prove causation? No. Nor does assumption equal proof. 

The way to live an authentic life that is free from the swarms of bats that constantly fly into your heart and soul is to become the Sky, to see that you have always been the Sky, you just thought you were a bat.

The water in a pitcher thinks its a pitcher. The water in a bucket thinks its a bucket. No, it’s still water, no matter what the shape.

Water can be liquid, solid or gaseous but it’s always H2O. 

You can be Tom, Nancy or Fido the fucking dog, but it’s always Awareness.

Awareness is infinite, without dimension, not located in space or time.

You are that. The proof is that Awareness is always your first experience and that only it can enable perception. No awareness, no perception. No perception, no experience. No experience, no Now.

Awareness and Now are identical. The proof is that wherever you go its always Here and no matter what time it is, it’s always Now.

You can’t get away from yourself. You’re always Here and Now.

This means that you are bigger than and prior to all phenomena, states, conditions and perceptions, all ideas, images, beliefs, and thoughts.

You can’t achieve this, you are this. The religions want you to seek this because they know you will never find it. You can’t find it because it’s not lost. It’s not lost because it’s the only Reality that Exists.

Yes, only Awareness exists and you’re it. Every so- called other shares your infinite being. You are like an infinite Ocean in which everything floats and swims. You are not born and you do not die. The playful forms and organisms are born and die, but the Radiant Living Awareness that circulates between their cycles of birth and death, doesn’t. 

You will not end when your body ends. You will see then and you can also see now, that this is true. Awareness is true, absolutely true, the Screen upon which all phenomena appear.

So relax and enjoy the show. After all, you wrote it, directed it, starred in it. You also built the theater and the audience in the Auditorium of the Heart.

The practical take away is this: every idea you ever had about yourself is wrong because you are not an idea, a thing. You are the Awareness of the idea.

When this becomes obvious to you, the cultural and religious conditioning starts to crack and melt. It’s the chrysalis and you’re the butterfly. The butterfly has to struggle through a tiny hole to get out of the chrysalis. It takes hours. As she squeezes through the pinhole, her wet body is cleaned and dried. If you try to help her and widen the hole with your pocket knife, she will get out faster, but she will die because the water that was not squeezed out is too heavy for her delicate body to carry.

Think about that the next time your petty preference are not met or you find yourself in a swamp at midnight. It is this kind of adversity and the courage it takes to face it that produces butterflies and mature adults.

As our precious human family enters the next gruesome phase of medical techno-fascism and the rise of the bio-security state, you can be sure that the only ones who survive will be the ones who comprehended and transcended the false narratives that have been stuffed down our throats and up our asses for millennia..

We colluded with them and went along with their bullshit. Those days are over.

We yearn for unity as a species and try to create it but we fail because unity already exists, does not have to be created, only Recognized.

The astonishing truth is that there is One Light, many windows

It’s hilarious to me the way neuro-scientists relegate consciousness to the brain, all the while using consciousness to do it.  

In this way, they miss the underlying core unity of the observer and the observed.

In order for the mind to function, there must be a subject/object structure.

What the scientific materialists overlook is that this structure is appearing to our awareness and is like a pair of colored glasses.

The awareness exists first, then the glasses.

I like to think of the body and mind in terms of my experience of them.

I say, my body. My mind.

Who is this I?

This is the most important question. To whom or what does this body and mind appear?

In this way, we can distinguish between the body /mind and the awareness of it.

If we don’t make that distinction, we will be subject to the limitations of space and time and body and mind. This is at the very root of suffering, the fear of annihilation at death.

The materialist neuro scientist starts with matter and ends up with consciousness, but this is exactly backwards.

Our first experience is awareness, not body or mind.

Therefore, we are Awareness first, then body and mind.

The proof of this is I.

I exist. I am. I am alive. I appear to myself as a body and mind because these are the glasses I am wearing.

But, even if I take the glasses off, I still exist.

I am prior to the glasses of space and time and so is everyone.

The Life that lives me, lives everyone, the entire universe.

One Life, to which there is no other.

We humans, the entire biosphere, are not alive. We are being Lived by a Great Power.

Only this Power, this Light exists.

Intelligent. Self- aware. Singular.

God did not create the universe. The universe exists as a necessary consequence to the Presence of God.

Love must have form and structure, like men and women must have each other, in space and time, to express its’ Passion

Spirit and Flesh are Lovers, not adversaries.

When this understanding (to stand under) is restored to the peoples of the world, and the aboriginal, primal unity with all Life is again Recognized, the loveless dread and horror that has smothered the world will evaporate.

It could be done in an instant. The Mind Body and Soul of Humanity could be brought back to Life by the electro shock of the Living Truth, spontaneously, worldwide, all at once.

The elite technocrats know this and have created a prison for our minds.

By suppressing the truth of Our Condition, they work tirelessly to keep us locked into identification with the body/mind because that produces the fear of death and change.

The Most Important Revolution is Rebellion and Revolt against the Lie that we are not Infinite Consciousness, only a body and mind which will soon be annihilated by death.

The importance of Recognizing This cannot be overstated, both as individuals and as a species.

During this Christmas Season, the celebration of Light and Love, let us give ourselves and each other the Unspeakably Glorious Gift of Life, Love, and the Profound Recognition of the Sacred Unity of all things.

Why Doubt, Disillusionment, Despair and Depression Are Gateways to Authentic Spiritual Awakening

Being well adjusted to a sick society is no accomplishment;  it’s a disgrace.

The pain of doubt, disillusionment, despair and depression is extremely valuable in the same way that the pain from sticking your hand into a fire is valuable and necessary.

That’s because the infinitely deep human heart cannot be satisfied with puny things like fame, power, sex and wealth. It is appropriate for divinely human individuals to feel the 4 D’s because the infinite cannot be fulfilled by the finite.

People are depressed because they don’t know who and what they are. Their contexts and labels for themselves are way too small. They are depressed for extremely good reasons.

Those reasons should be respected, uncovered, exposed and appreciated for what they really are: the psycho-tectonic tremblings of the Infinite Heart which is Alive as all things.

You have every reason to be extremely glad that you are depressed because it means that you are vastly bigger and greater than you have ever imagined.

The depression, like the pain of the fire, motivates us to see that our thoughts, assumptions and actions are mistaken, toxic and lethal.

If you were satisfied with material things and a false identity, THAT would be a problem.

Your task is to see that you caused the depression, just like sticking your hand in the fire caused the pain. The “fire” that caused the depression is Spiritual Error.

Spiritual Error occurs when we mistake the map for the territory, or the menu for the meal.

Every one of your ideas about yourself is incorrect. That’s because you are not an idea.

You are a Presence.

Ideas spring out of Presence like maps spring out of territories. Maps are useful but they are not the Territory. You are the Territory but you overlook this and call your Presence a body, mind and self in a world in a universe.

While you are intimately associated with the body/mind/self, you are not identical to it, anymore than a movie screen is identical to the images projected onto it. You are the Light of Awareness that shines through the projector of body and mind. This is what produces time and space.

The body refracts Presence into space;  the mind refracts Presence into time.

You are the Light, the Projector, the Stage, the Images and the Audience.

We imagine ourselves to be the mind in a body in the world and that’s true, but its not the Whole Picture.

You are the Whole Picture. You are One Presence, unchanged by whatever you are Present to.

You are like a mirror which is unchanged by whatever it reflects.

Failure to understand this results in depression, thank God.

Use your depression for what it is intended for. It is not a “condition” that needs to be “treated”.

It is a Sacred Message, just like the pain the hand feels in the fire. That pain is not a “condition” either, it’s extremely valuable information.

Depression is what happens when what you want is too small, or who you think you are is some puny, cornball, cheesy, cardboard map, a cartoon version of your Infinite Heart.

You can prove this to yourself simply and directly. Turn your attention to the one who is depressed, the one who is aware of the depression. You are not a body/mind that is depressed;  You are the Awareness of the body/mind that is depressed.

Become curious about that One. Pay attention to that One. Deeply contemplate the Wonder and the Mystery and the Gargantuan Magnificence of that One.

In this way, You will be restored to your True Identity as Infinite Love and Happiness and you will see that you are not merely the objects of your Awareness, but Awareness Itself.

The depression is an inevitable artifact of an identity that is incorrect.

The solution is to take your hand out of the fire of false ideas, cultural conditioning, scientific materialism and religious superstition.

This is the story of the Prodigal Son, who spends all his life energy pursuing gratification and love in all the wrong places, then drags his penniless, ravaged self back to his Father, who welcomes him with open arms.

“When I looked for myself, I found God. When I looked for God, I found myself”

That’s because they are identical.

Give up the idea of being a separate self in a mind, in a body, in a world.

Embrace the Truth of your moment to moment experience of and as, Awareness and notice that it PRECEDES objects and ideas. All of your experiences, perceptions, thoughts and ideas are appearing in your Awareness, like clouds in the Sky.

The Sky is not affected by the clouds, nor by their absence.

Awareness is not affected by body and mind, nor by their absence.

The only thing that doesn’t change is the Awareness of the change.

When your body dies, absolutely nothing with change for You.

You will experience its death and will be amused that You used to think that it was You.

Your Actual Nature is Infinite Love and Happiness, but it got buried under mountains and centuries of false assumptions.

It’s buried, yes. But it’s still the Truth.

For countless millennia, we humans have assumed that God created the Universe and everything in it and is directing the course of human events from Heaven. Many people believe that God is orchestrating events and working out a Plan of Salvation for a Fallen Race.

This is an error. God is not in charge. If God were in charge, He would have to be removed, re-called, sanctioned, silenced and fired from His job due to Criminal Negligence, Moral Malfeasance, Spiritual Malpractice, Extortion, Fraud,  and Murder.

After all, those who are in charge are responsible for what happens on their watch. This means that God is responsible for all the wars, murders, rapes, abortions and suffering in this world and all others.

It is a relief to me to know that God is not in charge because, if He were, I would have to go have a long talk with Him about His behavior and how His actions are causing great harm.

The Bad News is not that God is not in charge.

The Bad News is that WE ARE in charge.

It’s not actually bad news, It’s good news, its just that this means that WE need to be talked to about our behavior.

We need someone to sit us down, slap our face and kick our ass.

That’s because we molest Life with our puny thoughts about God and Each Other. We are Spiritual Pedophiles and Brats who rape Beauty and Innocence with our Shitty Ideas.

What did Nature ever do to you except to bring you Life, Light and Love?

Why do we assume that Nature hates us? Why do we insist that we are not responsible FOR and TO our Presence? How is it possible that human race looks like an autistic brain damaged, homeless child? We stagger around like refugees in our own Land.

I used to be like this. I used to think that it was Gods fault that things were so terrible here on Earth. Why wouldn’t I think this? He’s in charge, right?

Wrong.

I am in charge and so are you.

I am in charge of my Attention and where I put it. I am in charge of what and how I think and what I do with it. I am responsible for every thought, word and action and their consequences are my responsibility too.

When I think thoughts like “I’m a separate thing in a fallen world in which I am going to die and God has me by the balls so I’d better be a good boy so I don’t go to hell” I create a world that fits my Spiritual Malware. When I install this gunk and junk into my Glorious and Spectacular Operating System, my Light is extinguished and I have to feel my way through the dark forest of fear and despair and confusion.

The Good News is that Only God Exists.

Not fake gods, not tin horn gods, not tribal overlords, not psychopathic monsters who send you to hell if you disobey.

Real God True God Life God Love God is what exists but we have installed Shitware into our Radiant Operating System.

Our body/mind/self is a fractal, a scale version of the Infinite Radiance called God.

We do not exist in a fallen state, we ignore our Actual State which makes it look like it doesn’t exist.

Our Actual state is prior to what appears in it and to it. Our actual state is a conscious awareness of whatever appears to it. The mirror is not affected by what it reflects. The hardware is not changed by the software.

We are the Hardware. In our infinite freedom, we choose the software.

So far in the history of humankind, we have been installing absolute garbage software.

Our task is to notice this and remove it.

A drunk stumbles out of a bar and walks down the street with one foot on the curb, one foot in the gutter. He’s crying his eyes out and a man passes by and asks him, Sir, Why are you walking with one foot in the gutter?

The man looks down, then looks up and says, Is that I am doing? I thought I was crippled!

Since ancient times, countless brave captains of mighty ships have faced their fears and sailed out, onto the vast oceans, using their compass and astrolabe to navigate. For centuries, they were perplexed and confused by the enormous difference between magnetic north and True North. Their compass pointed to magnetic north so they followed it but ended up hundreds of miles off course.

They read their compass correctly;  the problem was that they did not know there was a big difference between True North and magnetic north.

Magnetic North changes. True North doesn’t. That’s the difference.

The Analogy is this: True North is the White Hot Core of Radiant Existence, the Passionate Field of Life Energy, the Gloriously Illuminated Sphere of Bright Love, in and as all beings, even poor little ole you and me, the cat, the bugs, everything.

Magnetic north is the TV land of sitcoms, News and Snooze , fake reality, zero love.

True North is the Red- Blooded,  White Hot, Super Sexy, Sweating, Swooning  Passion of Heartfelt Intimacy between Part and Whole, Consciousness and Matter, Self and God.

Magnetic north is a joke, a distraction from This, the Real.

Magnetic north is everything in your life that is not stable. It shifts. It moves, often at the worst moments. Its quicksand, cannot be trusted. It’s fake news and junk science.

Discard it.

True North is Love, your Very Essence.

Therefore:

Trust Life, NOT the counterfeits of It, sold to you by the Pimpocracy.

Trust Life.

Then, Show Up as Love and Energy.

I’ve been asking myself: What is the most dangerous thing on Earth? There is a long list to choose from. Plutonium. Terrorists with bombs.  Vaccines injected into newborns. Mandatory Vaccines with mercury, cancer cells, aborted fetal tissue, radio frequency-nano computer operating systems. Privately owned Fiat Currency loaned to governments, paid back plus interest through taxation. The concept of Original Sin. Extortionists like George Soros who made his billions ripping off entire countries and now funds Antifa fascists bent on destroying America.   Fluoride. Glyphosate. Pesticides. Nuclear power plants. GMOs. The Satanists and Black Magicians at the core of the New World Order.

There is a much bigger list, but I’ll stop there.

Here is my candidate for the Most Dangerous Thing:

The inability or unwillingness to distinguish between what is real and what is counterfeit. Ignorance of one’s ignorance. The refusal to confront the Abyss, the unfathomable Condition.  Not confronting  fear and not finding courage. Directing anger in the wrong place.  Installing substitutes and malware for understanding the situation. Relying on beliefs instead of truth. Confusing the menu with the meal. Substituting the map for the territory.

The reason these are so dangerous is  because they enable the first list. The failure to distinguish between what is absolutely true and what is provably false is a catastrophe of immense proportions.

Our world is built on this failure and that’s why it is disintegrating.

Here is the  Truth and you can verify it for yourself: Truth, whatever it is altogether, exists. Truth is Reality. Reality exists. It is real, not an hallucination of neurons firing in the brain. Reality is Awareness. Aliveness. Reality is a Radiant Field of Conscious Living Light. Reality is Intelligence. Consciousness.  That which is Alive as all things. Reality is That Which is writing and reading this sentence.

It is a singular Reality, an Ocean of Aliveness. The awareness in the amoeba is identical to my and your awareness. Awareness is awareness; there are no levels to it. Water is water. It might be ice or steam, but it’s still water.  

Only this Reality exists.

It has no opposite. No other.

It includes and exceeds all others.

The preposterous arrogance and fear based vanity that rules and is destroying our world originates in the suffering that is caused by the refusal to Notice and Embrace this most Obvious Truth.

Life is Love. Love is Truth. Truth is God. God is Reality. Reality is Light. Light is Love. Love is Life.

Life is the Presence of Love. We are its emanations. Nature is its body.

Life is love and light; life is resonant.  Light  is a Sound.  A Word.  It conducts an infinite River of Life-Energy through all the galaxies, stars, planets and their organisms.

This is a Wonder, an Ecstatic Display. The celebration of this Life is at the heart of healthy human culture.

But on Planet Earth, we have war, poverty, disease and, worst of all, “experts”.

We have lies and we have believers in those lies.

The lies don’t worry me. The believers worry me.

In my lifetime, I have been told that a lone gunman killed JFK, that the Twin Towers disintegrated from office fires and airplane impacts, and that a new virus has emerged and is killing millions of people.

My deepest prayer and longing is that people everywhere will become enraged at themselves for believing lies and stop. Stand on the Earth and in the Reality of your Appearance in this mysterious Realm. Do not flinch. Do not turn away because it’s frightening or overwhelming. Do not contract. Do not collapse under the weight of  Incarnation. Face the Paradox and Participate like a Lover, in the Wonder.

Unless we are able to make this emotional embrace and bonding, in love, with the Wonder, then we should not expect to have a beautiful world where discriminating intelligence, happiness , freedom and cooperation are abundant. We are not qualified to have this  because we believe in the Counterfeit. That’s why we have a counterfeit world.

The only way to change this is to change ourselves, to return to the Truth that we abandoned and betrayed. It will not come from our leaders or from saviors with needles.

It will come from us. We must become the heroes we are looking for to save us, poor little ole you and me.

We must overcome the lie in ourselves. All of them, starting at the very first one: separation from our originating source, our personal, psycho- emotional withdrawal and disconnection from Love and Truth.

Who knows How or Why, but Life arises in every moment.

An endless stream of Life Energy crashes and splashes through the universe, its brilliance and intensity continuously birthing countless galaxies and organisms.

The Living Presence of Conscious Intelligence is a Wonder to Behold.

Existence is so vast, so far beyond words and explanations, the only appropriate response seems to be jaw dropping awe, staggering astonishment and speechlessness.

Nevertheless, I feel compelled to sail my leaky little rowboat out onto the vast Ocean of Being and see if my heart/mind/body/self can whistle a tune to the great Starry Person of Life and Love.

Here goes:

I am, as a born individual, an undivided, singular point of awareness. I feel, see, wonder, and think. I act. I explore because I am curious. I am curious because Life is so beautiful, so interesting. My wonder exceeds my knowledge. What I know is dwarfed by what is Wonderful. I am therefore compelled to know more about the Wonderful, so I row my boat out onto the ocean.

What do I know for sure?

The only thing I know for sure is that I exist. I am alive. I am aware.

Whether the universe is a big hologram or an illusion or a game of hide and seek, or a journey, a hell, a heaven, I can’t say.

I don’t know what it is. All I know, is that I love it.

I don’t have to know what it is or why it is, or how it is in order to love it and be intimate with it.

I can remove the blockades I have erected in my fear and let the dam break into my heart.

I can take off my clothes of malignant ego psychosis and get into Bed with my Lover.

If I am a dot, a point of consciousness, embodied as an apparent individual, appearing in a mysterious realm called Earth, then what is the big problem?

Yes, it’s confusing, terrifying, and you’re gonna die, but don’t flinch.

Don’t turn away from the pain. Everything you have ever known and everyone you have loved is going to disappear, just like you. In the meantime, you are supposed to make sense out of all of this and still get to work on time.

This is what I call the Crucible, the Furnace. Where all the hobgoblins of our fears, doubts, recoils, philosophies, strategies, obstructions, beliefs, idols, distractions, trivialities and false gods are incinerated.

As an individual, I am a dynamic fractal miniaturization of the Radiant Field of Awareness.

Consciousness is what exists first. Everything that you or I  have ever thought or experienced has been mediated through living, conscious awareness.

If Consciousness is the fundamental substrate of Life, and all apparent things are appearing as objects to It, then one can only conclude that Awareness and Matter are a lot like dolphins and oceans.

The Ocean of Awareness and Imagination explodes into DNA blueprints for infinitely fabulous organisms to appear, endlessly.

Who or What is orchestrating all of this? How do billions of cells and people and civilizations organize so intricately and beautifully, spontaneously?

What is my relationship to this Wonder?

According to Cymatics, the science of sound and its effect on matter, electrical signals organize atomic nuclei into patterns that correspond to the vibration and frequency of the signal. A magneto-electric field is generated in which the organism forms, according to each specific layer of the field. 

When the DNA in the sperm and egg unite, a literal sub atomic explosion occurs and a Radiant Field is generated that organizes the nutrients fed to it by the placenta into a new organism.

The mothers womb to the fetus is like space is to the sun. The Radiant Field we now call you is a literal sun. We know this because the heart is the first organ to develop and it has a sino- atrial node on the right side which is known as the pacemaker. The Light of the sun is sending a signal to the pacemaker to oscillate in synch with the electrolytes in the blood which are positively and negatively charged. This differential in charge pushes the blood through the body and the heart amplifies it and organizes it for distribution to the cells. The blood then delivers oxygen and nutrients to the body and removes its wastes.

All without our conscious attention.

This description of the process does not explain it. It’s still a mystery How and Why it appears.

Academic knowledge refuses to confront this mystery.

The scientific materialists believe that all Life is just  random interactions and that our awareness of it is merely the result of neurons firing in the brain.

This gargantuan leap of faith and belief, one which dwarfs even the most fervent fundamentalist’s, is as incomprehensible as it is preposterous.

Instead of admitting that they cannot understand reality and starting there, at Wonder, they just give up and dismiss everything as random. This is the most pathetic abdication of human curiosity and intelligence I have ever seen.

Anyway, when the Radiant Field is born as you, the Light of Life sends its signals into your infant body through love, water, oxygen and food. Your mothers milk nourishes you and coats your digestive tract with living enzymes which will digest your food and keep your immune system strong for life.

Born as Wonder and Delight, you soon find out this world is a strange place indeed. Instead of being welcomed as an Emissary of the Divine, you’re stamped, spindled and folded into a monotonous, boring, soul crushing robotic cartoon version of yourself that will now be forever mistaken as You.

The New Narrative is what the native peoples have known all along. They are our elders, and they are being exterminated by the Black Magicians. This is because they carry the living wisdom of inherent dynamic unity with the living Matrix of Nature. The word matrix comes from mater, Mother. The Satanist’s first assault is to rip the indigenous out of Nature, out of the body of the Mother.

It must be understood that Judaism is Satanism. Judaism is blood sacrifice, a horror that Jesus came to end, but it ended him. Now, he’s their poster boy for blood sacrifice, thanks to Paul and the Romans.

Jesus’s message was Prior Unity with God, the all- pervading Presence of Life that “rains on the just and the unjust alike”. That’s what got him killed. After his torture and murder, his Wisdom Teaching was turned into a crappy little ego salvation scheme, based on blood sacrifice and atonement for Original Sin to a tyrannical tribal overlord masquerading as God.

The blood sacrifice salvation machine is built on terror: separation from God. The Priest then rescues the hapless and doomed victim through the bloody rituals of appeasement.

The modern version of Original Sin and the need to be rescued is Covid 19. The virus creates the terror, the High Priests of Vaccination rescue the victim.

Our world is based on victim consciousness because human beings create ego out of fear. The shock of birth and the emotional recoil from Life creates ego suffering. We imagine, then dramatize, separation from our Originating Source, an absolute impossibility. Egos are,  therefore, easily manipulated by fear and salvation and appetite and fascinating distractions.

Individuals who have claimed ownership of their deepest identity as Radiance and Freedom are not so controllable. This is called adulthood.

I believe self ownership, healthy boundaries, and deep respect for All of Life is what is missing in our world.

The New Narrative is the Ancient Narrative: Inherent, Dynamic, Coherent Unity with All Being as the Condition of All conditions.

This is the basis of Authentic Religion, based in Reality. Not mythology, belief, premise, theory or axiom.

Truth, whatever it is altogether, is definitely not a map of the territory. It IS the Territory and everyone, atheists included, live There.

Is such a thing as true religion possible?

Yes.

Does truth need religion?

No. True religion is the celebration of truth in the same way sex is the celebration of love.

Our awakening to our inherent non-separation from the Truth of Life and Its Radiant Field  is what must occur, for its own sake, but also especially now, during the Medical 911 psy-op known as Covid 19.

In order to defeat one’s enemy, you have to develop the skills and ability to do so.

In my view, this is accomplished through personal responsibility for and to what is true. This leads to an identity shift that is deeper and more comprehensive than my ordinary assumptions about who and what I am.

This realization is more than enough to demolish the Black Magic Spell that has been cast over humanity and hypnotized us into believing horrible lies about ourselves and Reality.

We have to realize that unity with Life or with each other does not have to be achieved, it has to be noticed as being always already true.

The solution to the imaginary disease known as ego is to Notice that you are the Awareness Of the body, Of the mind, Of your idea of yourself.

Those ideas and bodies and minds change. You don’t. Awareness doesn’t change. Awareness is like a mirror that is unaffected by whatever it reflects. Ramakrishna said that Awareness, our True Self, is like a pond  that we throw a stick on. Now, it looks like there are two ponds. No, there is only one.

Your underlying, inherent Nature doesn’t change on the basis of what you think about yourself. You are always still yourself independent of your beliefs.

When this is understood, everything changes.

Until then, we are playing a role on a stage that somebody else handed us, one that we accepted.

We are not a role, an idea. We are not an object. We are the awareness of the object.

The only thing that doesn’t change is the Awareness of the change.

When we build our Identity on that, then we are capable of caring for and being present to, every single aspect of our hearts, mind, bodies, and world. We become capable of love and the ability to respond under all conditions. We become adults and leave our childhood in our memories, where it belongs.

We grow up. And we build a world of cooperation and mutual enrichment, on the Ground of Profound Spiritual Recognition of our own and each other’s Sacred Essence.

Until we can do that, and complete these necessary pre-requisites for a healthy self and world, we will remain the brain dead, spiritually autistic controllable androids the Globalists have designed for fun and profit.

Countless births—and deaths—occur every day across our planet and the universe beyond.
Yet, Life continues to arise. Therefore, death is no threat to Life.
If one could stand back far enough, the universe would look like a bright light, with flames and tongues of fire: individuals.
Imagine every individual as a tongue of fire, or a filament in a light bulb that conducts energy, heat and light.
The light bulb burns out, the energy that conducts itself through it doesn’t.
We are that energy. Our hearts, minds and bodies are the circuit: bright lights on two legs.
The relationship between the bodymindself and the Light is so close, so intimate, it’s hard to tell them apart. In fact, it’s impossible to tell them apart.

The ecstatic intimacy between part and whole, self and God, matter and consciousness is a staggering wonder to behold.
Your awareness in this moment, and always, is perfectly coherent with the Awareness, the Aliveness Which conducts itself throughout the galactic body of the universe. The Ocean of Existence is made from Living Light: Self Conscious Aliveness.
The stars and galaxies are neurons in the Quantum Brain, the planets are Gardens of Delight. Individuals are literal Temples of God.
This is completely Obvious, on every scale.
Each human individual is a tiny fractal of That Which Is Alive As All Things.
Every person’s actual identity is this Light (Love).
A human is a sun, a star, a Tongue of God’s Flame.
The question is, Why is this fact not at the center of world culture?
Why do human beings give away their birthright for a bowl of porridge?
How is it possible on a planet so spectacularly beautiful as Earth, with gloriously, exquisitely gorgeous human beings all over it, to routinely, chronically miss the Obvious?
Life is Beautiful. Life is Love. Why is there so little understanding of this in our world?
My answer is We never get over the shock of birth, of suddenly showing up as a vulnerable individual in a chaotic world, and dramatize abandonment and victimhood, ad infinitum.
We play Poor Me/ Fuck You with a vengeance. We indulge in self-pity, then blame others for our sorry plight.
That’s why we don’t grow up. We remain childish, emotionally and spiritually.
Like children, we rely on mommydaddygod to tell us what’s true.
Our not-so-hidden rage at our self- imposed enslavement destroys and prevents equanimity and equilibrium.
Now, we need a savior.
The problem in this world is not a virus, not dictatorial governments, not banking cartels who stole our currency.
The problem is the mentality of slaves who believe what they are told and don’t take responsibility for finding out what’s true and being loyal to it.

Maggots live on dead tissue. Like bacteria and viruses, they provide a useful service:  they eat biological waste.

Without bacteria and viruses, we could not survive. If there is an overabundance of these microbes, it means that dead and dying cells are clogging up the system.

Digestion requires acids, enzymes and bacteria.

There are more bacterial DNA in our bodies than human DNA.

We live in symbiosis with these microbes. If things get out of balance, it’s not because of evil bacteria and viruses. It’s because the natural symbiosis is not working.

It takes personal care and responsibility to restore the balance, not vaccines and drugs masquerading as saviors. Our bodies work spectacularly well when we eat nourishing food, drink fresh, living water, and get enough sunshine and rest.

There is NO substitute for this! You can’t drug your way to health, no matter how gleaming the smiles may be on the slick ads for pharmaceuticals! They’re lying!

When I step back and take a very broad perspective, I see our world-wide moral and spiritual bankruptcy as a rotting mass of stinking garbage that is attracting a lot of viruses and bacteria. To them, it’s a banquet. They eat the oozing corpses of our failure to love and be responsible for what is sacred and beautiful.

In our instant- gratification/slash- and- burn mentality, we think we can storm the gates of heaven and steal our way to happiness, health and sanity.

However, Nature has a different plan.

It’s called Love.

That’s right. The light streaming from the sun is Love. The beloved earth under our feet is Love. Food is love. Water is Love.

Life Itself is Love.

The failure to notice this glaringly obvious fact, the one that has been buried under centuries of scientific materialism and religious psychosis, is why we imagine, falsely, that health and well- being can be manufactured and sold for a profit.

No, it can’t.

Health and well- being are the result of something else:  heart-felt love/intimacy with That Which Is Alive As All Things.

You cannot be healthy or happy without love. The ability to radiate and receive love is the greatest super power on earth.

And, it is the true, and only, basis of radiant health.

You can eat all the organic food you want and meditate and do yoga till your ass falls off. Without love, you will rot and stink and be weak and sick from measly, piss-ant viruses.

No one needs to be taught this. Everyone knows what love is and what it means to be happy and sane and healthy and full of energy.

If you forgot this, you can remember. If you doubt what I’m saying, you can prove it for yourself.

How? Because you ARE love itself, today, right now.

The contexts that I use to interpret the data of my experience are my responsibility.  

Adopting any and every context is extremely serious business because context determines outcome.

Humans have been conditioned to use extremely limited and, in most cases, completely useless contexts that are also very harmful, ugly and destructive.

People who use small contexts are easy to control. The threat of danger is all it takes. Combine this with the promise of rescue and you have the perfect bait and trap.

This trap is made in the human mind. Aldous Huxley pointed out that this is the best trap of all, far better than cages and police. The people control themselves through the worship of their enslavement. And, they snitch on each other for personal gain (Think George Soros telling the Nazis where the Jews kept their gold and jewels).

Therefore, the ONLY solution to suffering as a prisoner is to UNDERSTAND the nature of the prison. Even prior to that, the individual must cognize that there even IS a prison. This is a huge task for many people who have been institutionalized by the prison system. There are many cases of prisoners who were released, threw rocks through jewelry store windows, then sat down and waited for the police to take them back to prison because they were so conditioned.

It’s completely understandable. If you can’t see the prison, then freedom wouldn’t even occur to you.

It gets worse.  Prisoners who accept their condition, condemn their liberators.

Morpheus tells Neo “You can’t wake these people up from the Matrix. You can show them the door. They have to walk through it”.

The Red Pill

The Red Pill is the Door, the Medicine and the Surgical Procedure for removing the Splinter, which Morpheus addresses  in Neo.  “You know there’s something wrong, but you just can’t put your finger on it”.

 You scratch, but it still itches.

The Red Pill is the brave decision to jump off the cliff of everything you think you know and fall through free space.    It requires the kind of trust it takes to jump out of an airplane with a parachute. The jumper has placed his life on the integrity of his parachute and the dynamics of atmosphere and gravity .

The Red Pill is the courageous act of Openness to Reality and the Unknown.  Cour is heart, in French.

It is a Cause, and it has an Effect.

When one ingests an entheogenic compound, for example, like Amanita Muscaria, the effect is that conventional boundaries between the space/time bound body/mind/self and the Cosmic Infinity of Existence disappear.

Instead of identifying exclusively with my personal sense of an individuated self, I suddenly find myself existing as Everything.  It’s quite a shock and many people have a very hard time with it, which is why shamans and authentic  guides are willing to assist their brave colleagues in their Ordeal of Understanding.

Morpheus uses the effect of the Red Pill and acupuncture and tender loving care to help Neo make the journey to the Real World and get him safely back again to the underground bunkers where the Resistance to the Matrix is carried out.

Neo’s choice to take the Red Pill is what initiated the Process.

He was not shopping at the Metaphysical Market for shiny trinkets and merry-go-rounds.

He jumped off the cliff because he itched so badly, he couldn’t stand it. He knew something was not right and he absolutely HAD to find out what.

People who are fascinated by the beads and necklaces the prison guards sell them are blind to their Situation.

When we dream at night, we don’t know we’re dreaming. The dreamer is experiencing his dream exactly as we experience the waking state. When we get up in the morning, we remember the experience as a dream, one that is viewed from another reality entirely,  the waking state.

We don’t have a problem making a distinction between the two states because we’re firmly planted in the one that includes them both.

One does not have to eat psychedelic plants, or take a Red Pill to Choose to become an Adult.

One only has to be unable to tolerate the Itch.

The Splinter

Who or what planted the Splinter in Neo’s mind?

The Splinter is caused by contexts that are too narrow, or lies that are too big. The chick outgrows the egg. The child becomes the adult.

The sub-human “people”  who herd humanity into economic, pharmaceutical, political, religious, scientific, national, sexual, racial and cultural prisons understand the value of tiny contexts.

That’s why it is true that the Oppressor’s greatest weapon is the mind of the oppressed.

The Adult

The Adult state and the Waking state are identical.

Children become adults through the destruction of their childish contexts. When they CHOOSE to abandon their childhood. Adulthood doesn’t happen automatically at puberty or physical maturity.

Adulthood is a Choice.  One becomes an adult only by walking through the Door and Falling through the Floor into Appropriate Context. Once over the threshold, an extraordinary Realm appears, never before imagined.

In this Realm the Adult Recognizes that s/he is, as a personal body/mind/self,  a literal fractal of Existence.

S/he is not disturbed or distracted by last night’s Dream of Childhood.

One is awake within an infinitely larger Context.  It is easy to observe all the smaller contexts from this “perspective”.  It’s not really a perspective at all; it is the Living Radiant Condition that includes all perspectives.  It’s not an “It” either.  Awareness, consciousness, the waking state is not an object, an “it”. We don’t know what “it” is.

We are simply aware of the Radiant Glory of Existence.  That’s our Stake in the Ground, the Sanctuary of our Precious Personal Life and Cosmic Identity.

Identifying as awareness is the beginning of the possibility of Adulthood.  From that Stake in the Ground comes an appreciation for freedom, something we didn’t know we didn’t have.

And for the sacred responsibility to protect that freedom.

Adults recognize the value of freedom and are willing to defend it.

Only those who can plainly see the prison bars and which side we are on, can actually comprehend the Situation. Until then, we are only blind men describing an elephant as being like a tree, or a rope.

Morpheus could not tell Neo about the Matrix because it’s impossible. One has to experience it directly and can only do so as an act of will, of free Choice.

At that Point, a crack in the Egg of the Child allows torrents of Light to Illuminate the core strands of  DNA and the Caterpillar Child becomes the Butterfly Adult.

There are markers along the way and trees that bear fruit.  That’s because Adults create Value and protect Life, from their heart, from Caring.

The Adult manages Heart, Mind and Body.

With Care.

Without Caring about what is True, what is Valuable and Taking Action for it, no Adulthood is possible.When one becomes an Adult and can competently manage Freedom and Responsibility, the Infinite Power of Cosmic Existence becomes fully available to the extent of the person’s ability to Conduct it.

Adulthood is the Urgent Responsibility and Obligation to Care enough to be fully what we are, not just a caterpillar.

It requires exhaustive self- ownership,  fierce devotion to what is real and a radical willingness to sacrifice everything that is not true in order to  even to begin to meet that Obligation.

It’s easy for the Kuntrollerz to stunt our growth, because we prefer the safety of our childhood over Jumping off a Cliff.

It may be painful, but not nearly as much as not Jumping.

Do we stay in the Womb of Childhood, or do we take responsibility for our Adulthood?

Neo took the Red Pill and initiated a Process that he could not have imagined. The stakes became so high, he had no choice but to rise to the occasion and become the Awakened One, the True Adult, by realizing his always existing, already inherent continuity between Part and Whole.

The Child is not lost in the Adult, it remains as a fond memory, a Cocoon that birthed a Butterfly through a willingness to Scratch the Itch, to Open Up, to Trust Life, and to Jump off a Cliff because you care about what’s True.

Finding out that my life has been based upon lie after lie is sickening and painful. I threw up, like Neo in the movie The Matrix, when he discovered that his so called life was a dream, a nightmare of horrors, lie upon lie.

His awakening was bloody and painful. He did not greet it with a smile, he had to recover from it, his own awakening! The truth is so massive, so crushing, no one can endure its weight.

The Truth literally crushes you to death, and that is why Awakening is about It, not “me”. Your identity as a separate entity will not survive the journey to enlightenment. The Truth hurts, but it’s still the Truth, still Life Giving. There is no need for beliefs when you have the Truth, or rather, when It has you.

In our world, it’s not only the tyrants who lie their asses off, it’s the priests and doctors too, unwitting administrators of torture and falsehood. They promote lies they sincerely believe.

But does the truth care about my beliefs about it? No. Do my ideas affect the truth? No.

Maps are not the Territory. Menus are not the Meal.

Eat the Real, Live the Territory.

The Territory is the Radiant Conscious Field of Intelligent Light, the Impossible Wonder of the Presence of Life. The Meal is the ecstatic Whole Body Enjoyment of this undeniable Truth: the entirety of Reality Itself is your most fundamental identity now, we are absolutely inherently identical to Whatever the Fuck It Is that became us, little ole you and me, go figure. When we finally come to grips with the mind shattering reality of our Actual Condition, now, we will be able to manage our lives and this planet without conflict.

The Map is a compilation of our scientifically materialistic, religiously psychotic, politically constipated, culturally anemic ideas about It. Our job is to move from the Map to the Territory.

In my last essay, Whatever Destroyed the Towers Could Power the Planet, I identified 3 lies, 3 social memes that infect the body of Humanity and regulate its behavior just as surely as our genes rule our bodies.

Here is one more, the most basic lie of all, the one that most enables our domination by the Matrix.

Ego.

The so-called ego is born from an assumption. It is not an entity, but a belief in one, a belief in a separate self, one that is marooned on an island of flesh. Belief in the ego is the result of a confusion about uniqueness, where individuation becomes the equivalent of separation. The ego is a belief, a primitive superstition, a cult of one, an emotional recoil dramatized as abandonment and betrayal. Every ego is a fundamentalist, a fascist, and a tyrant in a drama of perpetrator/victim. I call it the Poor me/Fuck you syndrome.

The truth is, I don’t have an ego and neither do you! We have a belief in ego, an assumption about our state that has no basis in Reality itself. A belief in something doesn’t make it true, no matter how devout we are, no matter how dedicated we may be to that belief. Pious devotion to falsehood turns people into fools. When you unpack your “self” and all its contents, it turns out to be just a pile of old books and dirty laundry.

The One who did the unpacking, That’s Who I Am. You too.

There is only one Reality, not two. The One became the “two”. Still, no “objects” actually exist, only Consciousness Exists. You are That, showing up like a Fish in the Ocean.

You are the Ocean, the Fish, and the Observer, all at once. How can this be? No one knows.

It just is.

You showed up out of nowhere because two people you didn’t even know had sex, now you’re an expert on everything because of all the great things you believe in. The problem is, you don’t know jack shit and not only that, you don’t know that you don’t know jack shit, a very dangerous situation. It’s important to know when you are confused. Well, I’m telling you. You’re confused, you don’t know jack shit and neither do I. That’s our situation. All we know is what we think we know. Reality Itself is unknowable, because finite minds, local space/time perspectives on the Whole just don’t cut it! How could they? This sounds like really bad news because if I can’t know It and I don’t know jack shit, how can I survive? How can I control things?

This question and the answer we provide is the birth of the so-called separate self, the “ego”.

The separate self is born when I imagine myself to be threatened by the awesome forces of birth and change and death. The appropriate heart response to this Infinite Current is a Gasp That Takes My Breath Away, not fear, not doubt, not withdrawal. That’s right. Who am I to judge or criticize or condemn Life? What the Fuck do I know?

Once I recognize my profound ignorance in the face of Infinite Life, I suddenly, unexpectedly, become identified with It, bonded to It, not separate from It. My knowledge about It ceases to be an obstruction to its Fierce Power and I see that It is not an “Object”, not “other”, and that I am not only inherently intimate with It, I am It, It is “me”. It’s a profound, mysterious and terribly passionate Love Affair, in which I am happy to Drown.

It is my true identity, not “me”. The “me” suddenly becomes weightless, transparent, and extremely sensitive to literally everything.

Enlightenment is perfect non- obstruction to the White Hot Core of the Living Current and results in a deeply felt emotional sensitivity to literally everything, a vulnerability to and passion for Whatever the Fuck It Is. I don’t know What It is, all I know is that I love It, I am in Awe of it, I trust It, I align myself with It, beyond and before the mind and its ideas. I am prior to the mind, a realization which makes the mind useful, otherwise, it’s a real bitch, as you know, your mind and everyone else’s. This is what Jean-Paul Sartre meant when he said “Hell is other people”, the basis of his play, Nausea. Hell is “me” and “you” grotesque and monstrous impersonations of our Real Condition, a Frankenstein run amuck in the Kingdom of the Real, the Infinite Heart of Love.

But, instead of mystical euphorias and other caricatures of enlightenment, you get complicated and painful ordeals of the heart. Instead of gleeful happiness and “fulfillment” you get a bleeding, oozing wound that never heals. Instead of glamorous rewards for your search for God, you get the utter destruction of the searcher.

This is not what I expected.

I thought I would be adorned in shining robes and bathed in light when I became enlightened, but I am being crucified on this cross of light and dark. Still, I do not suffer, even though Awakening really hurts. How can this be? Pain without suffering? What? Yes. How can this be? I do not know. All I know is that I trust the excruciating Pain. Do you? Or do you turn it into blame and self pity?

Now, as a result of recovering from your illusions about yourself, your Actual Condition at Infinity becomes painfully clear. You start to become animated, humorous, and irreverent. You poke fun at very serious issues and you crack jokes about really painful subjects. People can’t understand you, what the fuck is wrong with you?

You woke up, that’s what.

Now, you have to deal with it. So do they. Their job will be much easier than yours though, because they can just ignore you or write you off as a nutcase. They would be exactly correct. According to the rules of this world, you are a nutcase, thank heaven.

Your true, actual, always already existing identity, is not a separate self, but the very One Who Is Alive As All Things. You are That, me too. The ego idea is a preposterous and ridiculous lie, an assumption, not an “entity” that needs to be overcome. No such entity exists, never has, never could, it’s impossible. Stop making the presumption of egoity, and your life will get better, stronger, more fundamentally true and alive. This is not a prescription for a real disease, only for an imaginary one, but one with real and deadly consequences.

Overcome your belief in a separate self, then, What is already true, What has always been the Case, will become perfectly Obvious. The Truth is the Truth, now. Also, our Singularity as a species has always existed, it’s just that it has been overtaken by ego insane ideas, just like our personal identities.

Our job is to restore our sanity, our personal and common humanity, by recognizing what is absolutely, fundamentally true: one, singular Consciousness is the nature of Reality. There is no inherent problem with Existence, no dilemma, no threat. All things, all worlds and universes are absolutely coherent and perfectly coincide with the Eternal Radiant Transcendental Being of Existence Itself, the Person of Love. Creating problems where none exist is the ego hell of ordinary life. It is arbitrary and unnecessary. Ego belief is easily transformed when the nature of Reality becomes apparent. Whirlpools don’t exist without a River. The bodymindself is a whirlpool that becomes an ego when it can’t Find the River.

This is the same message as the Original Gospel of Jesus: prior, already existing unity with the Divine Reality, and is the very message that got him killed. The world is based on the ego lie of separation which necessitates salvation schemes and atonement rituals which Jesus routinely condemned in public. They strung him up as quickly as possible and crucified him as a dangerous heretic. Later, he became the poster boy for blood sacrifice. This is an example of how the Truth is weaponized. Jesus had great credibility among the people, he was intensely loved, he was the greatest mouthpiece the Pharisees and Rome could ever hope for, so he became the “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”. In this way, the ego lie was kept in place and Jesus was used like a nail in that coffin.

The ego lie is the most fundamental premise of the world, which is why we have scientific materialism, the idea that consciousness comes from the brain, and religious superstition which imagines parental deities who must be placated and obeyed, a clearly childish context. An adult context would be heart felt love communion with That, not mommy-daddy appeasement rituals.

Humanity is like a child who has been severely used and abused. Our task is to recover from the lies we believed and the abuse we both endured and participated in and enabled. We must mature in this way on both a personal and a planetary level.

We can do it and we must.
