Truth, Wonder, and the End of Belief

Do you leave your clothes on when you make love? Do you wear a raincoat in the shower? Do you equate your beliefs with truth?
These are ridiculous questions and they poke fun at an even more ridiculous, paradoxical and amusing Situation: the finite bodymindself appearing in an infinite Realm.
It appears and disappears. To whom? To What?
Who or What does your body and mind appear to? Who or What is it that is reading this sentence? Your mind? Your brain? Your self?
Those are just words, but they point to a Situation: Awareness.
Whatever else is true or false, you are aware of this sentence. You were aware before you stared reading and you will be aware afterwards.
In the same way, you were aware before you were born and you will be aware after your death.
How do I know this is true? Because Existence is real. Even is it is a complete illusion, it’s still real even if only as a hallucination. It’s a hallucination that we are Aware of.
That means Existence is Awareness and is What is Most Real. Not just the mere objects of awareness floating through the Sky of your Attention, but Awareness/Attention Itself. I capitalize this term to emphasize the Core Essence of Reality that Awareness/Attention really Is.
Reality is Awareness, Consciousness, the Ability to Pay Attention.
Contrary to popular belief, Reality is not a thing, an object, planets and stars and plants and animals. Reality is the Awareness of these things. It is not a thing Itself and cannot be pointed to, like objects can. The proof? You can’t see your own eyes without a mirror.
You therefore, are not a thing, an object, a bodymindself. You are the Awareness of these thingd, these appearances and disappearances. Paradoxically, you are seamlessly united with them, and are perfectly coherent and resonant and intimate with literally the entire cosmic universe, just like a wave in the Ocean.
This is not merely my belief or philosophy and I do not ask you to believe it. I ask you to find out for yourself if it is true.
The reason I find this incredibly important is because, if it is true, then everything you thought you knew is false and you have been living in a dream world you thought was real.
I apologize for interrupting anyone’s dreamtime, but if I don’t you might miss the bus and be late. You might miss the Wonder that you are and confuse yourself with the objects of your Attention. That would be a tragedy. That’s why I am working to communicate the truly mind blowing, psychedelic, transcendental, visceral, emotional, bloody, painful, terrifyingly wonderful Nature of your existence as a born being, an apparent bodymind in a world, in space.
It’s a Situation. A Realm. It’s a Real Dream, a True Hallucination (thanks to Terrence McKenna for this term).
It’s both ephemeral and deadly, a Deadly Game.
In this Game, you appear as an individual. You were born and you will die. In the meantime, you seem to be inside a body and mind. You can move and think and talk, at will, with complete freedom of choice. No matter where you want to put your Attention, you can.
Your Ability to Pay Attention is literally a Super Power.
Your bodymindself is a Beacon of that Light and you, little ole you, have the astonishing, jaw dropping ability to focus that Awareness/Attention/Light anywhere you choose.
